Orfeo

Euridice

Amore
Orfeo descends to the underworld to bring back his wife Euridice. He is allowed to lead her home on one condition: he must not turn to look at her. Gluck places the power of song at the heart of this story of love and loss.
This BCJ production is performed in concert, in Italian with Japanese surtitles. The voices of the three soloists, chorus and period instruments carry the drama.
